Local Honey

There are many people who would be excited to have the chance to have raw organic honey from the rain forest.
We often have the opportunity to buy local honey.  There are some people who will harvest it, and bring it directly to our house to sell.

It comes complete with the bees, wax, and some bits of dirt.

I tend to dread buying honey because it is a mess to drain.  Cheese cloth is too loosely woven to get out the finer bits of dirt.
But I didn't have to drain these ten liters.  My cook was happy to do that for me.  :)

The man who sold us the honey was just barely taller than Isabelle.
