Unlike in the four seasons in North America, we have two main season- rainy and dry.
We have entered the dry season, and we are about half way through.
Living in the rain forest, dry season is different than in other areas.
We still have some rain, but it is dry by comparison- and extremely hot.
The air stays humid, and we get rain once or twice a week until the end of the season, when we might go two or three weeks without rain.
This is the view from the other side of the bridge. The top pictures show the rainy season, and the bottom pictures show the same scenes now. |
