At the river

This past March, we took a walk beside the river with Sarah Speer.
It was nice to get off the hospital compound and see some of the surrounding area. 

You can't see clearly, but there are 4 people on the motorcycle, and the person in the back is holding 2 chickens!

Walk to the River- Pt 3

 We had a bigger group on the way back.  About 12 kids accompanied us half way!

Walk to the River

During the last weekend in May, we decided to walk to the part of the river closest to our house.

The grass along the path was taller than me in some places!

We walked through this small village of five or six houses.

We took the path alongside the river while we looked for a good swimming spot.

At the River- Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, our team went to the river in the evening and spent a few hours enjoying the shore and the water.  It was a beautiful location!
